Refund policy
At The Loving Partner Bakery, we are committed to sharing the joy of our treats with you. Because our products are perishable food items baked to order, we have established the following policy regarding returns and refunds.
No Returns Policy (Final Sale)
In accordance with food safety standards and California law, all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are accepted.
Perishable Goods: We cannot accept returns on food products. Once a package has left our kitchen, we cannot verify its storage conditions and therefore cannot accept it back for resale or inspection.
- Return Shipping: Since we do not accept physical returns, there are no return shipping fees for our customers.
Quality Guarantee & Full Refunds
While we do not accept returns, your satisfaction is our priority. We want to ensure your cookies arrive exactly as intended.
We will issue a full refund or a one-time replacement if your product does not arrive in good condition. This includes items that are damaged during transit, spoiled, or otherwise compromised.
How to Request a Refund
If your order arrived in poor condition, please follow these steps within 48 hours of delivery:

- Provide Documentation: Attach a photo of the damaged product and the shipping packaging. This is required for us to process your request and to help us improve our shipping methods.
Refund Processing Time
Once your request is received and verified:
- Approval: We will notify you via email regarding the approval of your refund or the shipment of your replacement.
- Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed immediately. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Shipping & Carrier Delays
We bake and ship our treats to ensure maximum freshness. While we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx), we understand that extreme delays can affect the quality of food. If your order is significantly delayed by the carrier and arrives in poor condition, please reach out so we can find a solution for you.
Cancellations
Because our products are made to order, cancellations must be requested within 48 hours of placing your order. Once the baking process has begun, we are unable to cancel the order.
